Not sure why this Gem is only rated 3 and 1/2 stars on Yelp We are NY Italian food snobs always difficult to find quality authentic Italian! My husband and I are extremely satisfied! Tonight was our first time here and we most certainly will be back ! Delicious food amazing atmosphere and great service. Grazie!!
Perfect place for a date night!! I would highly recommend the dark Manhattan!!! The steak was super good as well.
Food is always amazing here especially their seasonal items! The fig appetizer is 10/10 and the seasonal gnocchi never disappoints We also got lasagna The service is great too!
My family and I like the ambience and size of the restaurant. Most importantly is the fabulous food that is cooked from scratch per each customer's order. Each dish my family ordered was cooked to our liking. Lastly the service was great and I appreciated that the owner stopped and asked us how our food tasted showing a real interest. Our waiter was "spot on" in terms of his knowledge and caring as well as the server who assisited him. We will be back....
Came for a date night on a Monday night. Place was not too busy. Food I also absolutely delicious, I got the chicken tortillini soup and it was so authentic I did not like it unfortunately they may have put cinnamon in and I was looking for more savory and not sweet tasting. But of course my filet was cooked to perfection, absolutely filled with delicious flavors and just overall gourmet. We also ordered the shrimp for the first time the grill taste on the shrimp was to die for. Love the food here.
Sat at the bar during the week, bartender was very pleasant but service was slow. Waited for a drink for a bit..Veal was delicious. My husband had eggplant Parmesan and the portion was tiny.
As the Italians always say...CHI DORME NON PIGLIA PESCI!!! Now, if you can translate that Frank at Sapori will give you a plate of quail wings. Seriously, go up and say...RIDE BENE CHI RIDE ULTIMO!! And then your quail magically appears! Really I mean it, get the quail, you will fall in love, want to slam that bottle of Barbera D'asti and order more. Is there more food here, yep, but just get the quail, say the Italian phrases and watch some TV with Nick Pappageorgio. From Yuma!!
I can't say enough of how wonderful this place was. We decided on Sapori Because they have private rooms you can reserve. The entire staff, from the managers on down (Javier and Miguel) Were completely incredible!!! My wife and I held our marriage in one of the private rooms with about 25 guests. Between her, I and the entire guest list, we were all completely blown away. The food, the stocked bar, and mostly the staff couldn't have made our night any better. I highly highly recommend this place. Sapori and the entire staff will always be a part of my life changing adventure. You guys absolutely rocked!!! And knocked it out of the park. Thank you so much to the entire staff!!
